Eventyoungpianc

In the Netherlands, a Young Professionals section is active: Young PIANC NL. Young PIANC participates in PIANC’s international Young Professionals network through representation on the Young Professionals Commission.

Young PIANC Netherlands is the network of young professionals (under 40 years of age) within PIANC. The network brings together young professionals working on ports, waterways, and waterborne infrastructure. Through meetings, presentations, and excursions, young professionals are given the opportunity to share knowledge, present projects, and strengthen their network within the sector. Examples of these events include excursions to the Blankenburg Connection, the IJmuiden lock, and the Terneuzen lock, combined with lectures. In addition, events featuring short presentations in a Pecha Kucha style on a wide range of topics within PIANC’s field of work are organized on a regular basis.
