Participants wanted for WG 270: International PIANC Working Group on External Threats in Inland Waterway Infrastructure
PIANC Netherlands is seeking participants for the Working Group on External Threats in Inland Waterway Infrastructure (WG 270), focusing on the protection of waterway infrastructure.
This working group focuses on damage to infrastructure that is not caused directly by shipping or normal wear and tear, but by external factors.
The working group gathers international practical experience and examines which measures are effective in preventing or mitigating these risks.
PIANC Netherlands can nominate two members to this working group, of whom at least one must be a Young PIANC member under the age of 40. Read the full WG 270 call and apply by 10 April via sec-pianc@deltares.nl.
